The setup is done by the artist and takes about 1 hour. All art supplies are provided by the artist.
Learners are welcomed at the scheduled time. Some basic guidelines for using acrylics are
explained. The painting that will be copied is presented at this time. The class is 2 hours.
The artist uses a blank canvas to show how to sketch the outline of the painting and learners
follow along.
Mixing dish is removed from underneath the dish with paints. The basics of mixing and blending
paint are explained.
The techniques of applying the paint on the canvas and which brush to use are shown and
explained.
The artist will come around and interact with the learners. Learners are encouraged to add a
special touch to their painting if they so wish. Answers to questions are given all throughout the
class.
At the end of the class cleanup is under way. Help with cleanup is greatly appreciated.
